Reduced to its simplest value, form is directly linked to the essence of everything. It’s the departure and the finality. It can be stable, but also evolutionary, maintaining an intimate relationship with time and its environment. Form is determined by its limits and is in constant interaction with the other forms that surround it. Form is an expressive structure, an intermediary essential to the communication of a thought or an idea. Form is a matter of fascination in all fields, but more significant in the « design » discipline, meshing aesthetics and function. Working on form is a return to the basics, to the morphogenesis of the subject. We treat form under its stakes and its problems, under the aspects of its essence, its functions, its structures and the dualities that this concept generates.
